What Is THE SPARKLE PROJECT?

In 2021 Rose & Luna owner Rachel created The Sparkle Project.

We accept in donations of unwanted beads, odd earrings and broken jewellery.

We carefully deconstruct the pieces, sort it and then we recreate, add sparkle and donate the finished pieces to
local charities.

So far we have created over 500 pieces for: Nelson Womans Centre, Nelson Woman’s Refuge, Nelson Cancer Society,
Big Brothers, Big Sisters and The Christchurch Aunties.

Next stop - Men Against Violence with 100 pairs of white earring.

Do you want to get involved?

Simply drop in your unwanted treasures to the shop, or post them if you are out of Nelson.

We will take good care of your pieces and bring back the sparkle to a community group near you.
